 Tele-Town Hall Discussion

Wednesday May 13, Senator Mike Morrell, R-Rancho Cucamonga, will join other elected leaders and experts for a telephone panel discussion of the status of the State Responsibility Area Fire Fee. The call will include an update on current legal actions by the Howard Jarvis Taxpayers Association challenging the fee, instructions on how to preserve the right to a refund, and the status of pending legislation related to the Fire Fee.

A new round of billing began March 2015. Senator Mike Morrell has twice authored legislation to repeal the fee including this year’s Senate Bill 198, which was defeated in committee earlier in Spring 2015, on a party-line vote.
