Officers from the Arrowhead Headquarters responded to a head-on collision resulting in
major injury on Sr-330, south of mile post marker 36.77, Saturday afternoon,
January 17, 2015.
Timothy
Clark Thomas of Laguna Hills, California was driving a 2000 Dodge,
traveling
southbound on State Route-330. The 54-year old Thomas crossed over the double
yellow lines dividing the northbound and southbound lanes, driving into the path
of a southbound vehicle and collided head-on with a northbound vehicle. The second vehicle, a 1997 Toyota was driven
by Betty Lynn Boudreau of Fawnskin.
Both
vehicles came to rest on their wheels and blocking traffic in the northbound
lane of SR-330. Thomas fled the scene on
foot. 52-year old Boudreau was trapped
in her vehicle and had to be extricated by emergency personnel. Thomas was located and consequently taken
into custody.
Both
Thomas and Boudreau were transported by AMR ambulance to Loma Linda University
Medical Center for medical treatment.
