Hanna Flat Campground in Big Bear is a beautiful, family-friendly campground located
North West of Fawnskin on the North Shore. The campground is nestled in a lush forest
of Ponderosa, Jeffrey Pines, wild roses, wildflowers and native shrubs. Most of
the campsites are heavily shaded and campers can enjoy a variety of wildlife and
birds as well as nearby hiking and biking trails.
The campground is on Forest Road 3N14, 2 ½ Miles NW of Fawnskin in Big Bear Lake
at an elevation of 7,000 feet. A portion of the road to the campground is dirt,
but within the campground the roads are paved. Each campsite is equipped with a
picnic table and campfire ring with a grill.
There are 88 Spaces, 44 on a first-come, first-served basis, and 44 that require
reservations. The Tent and RV Sites space length is 40’ and the sites are not suitable
for RV’s over 26 feet. The campground has Water, Vault Toilets, Pay Phone and there
is a campground Host on site.
The Fee is $24 per night /2nd Vehicle fee $5.00 a night. Campsite must be occupied
1st night. Pets must not be left unattended, must be leashed at all times. Quiet
time 10PM to 6 AM. Campground limit 14 days. Open Season April 29 – October.
