Front Point is Revolutionary Technology for Snowboard Bindings.
Front Point is a snowboard plate adapter that is used in conjunction with any snowboard binding. The size of the plate is approximately 5/8” high and 9” (round) in diameter. The same size plate is used for the back and front foot, except the back foot adapter is without moving parts, this keeps both feet at the same height.
The Front Point adapter plates are easy to install and are mounted on the top of the snowboard using the holes as provided by the snowboard manufacturer to install the bindings. It only takes four screws each to mount the adapter plate to the snowboard’s front and back (both feet). The snowboard binding is then mounted on top of the adapter plate with another four screws.
With the Front Point Adapter, snowboarders are able to pull a knob and rotate their foot, including the binding to a 45 or 90 degree angle; this enables them to stand, walk and ride the chairlift with their feet in a more comfortable position.
Front Point does not allow the adapter to rotate beyond the 90 degree angle.
