Rehab-Work on I-15

Coffman/Parsons Joint Venture design-builder on behalf of the
California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) District 8 began at the
Cajon Pass Rehabilitation, April 1, 2014.
Interstate 15 (I-15) beginning northbound, at Kenwood Avenue in
San Bernardino County for approximately 13 miles on Interstate 15 (I-15) to 1.2
miles south of West Hesperia Overhead. The shoulder work will begin northbound
on the I-15 and continue on the southbound side of the freeway.
To accommodate minor traffic alignment there will be
modifications through the 13-mile work zone in preparation for larger scale
work to begin. Caltrans construction project work days will begin as early
as 8:00 P.M. and end by as 6 A.M. with rehabilitation work at
nighttime, focusing on the shoulder work. The estimated time for the I-15
Project Completion is predicted to be Summer 2016.
