Speeding Tickets?
BE Work Zone ALERT
http://www.beworkzonealert.com
Caltrans continues to partner with
the California Highway Patrol (CHP) who are providing enhanced
enforcement during work hours. However,
motorists continue to travel at top speeds in excess of the 70 mile per hour
posted speed limit through the construction zone.
Motorists are being
advised that the CHP is now issuing citations for speed violations and other
traffic offenses through the project limits.
As a reminder, citations can lead to double fines if received within the
work zone.
The project will continue
to require lane and ramp closures including some full directional closures and
is expected to be completed by the end of 2018, weather permitting.
Caltrans will continue to keep the
public informed with the schedule of work and closures as the project
progresses. To stay updated on the I-15
