I-10 Bridge Maintenance Project
San Bernardino County
California Department of Transportation (Caltrans)8
District # San Bernardino continues construction on the $4.9 million
bridge maintenance project on Interstate 10 (I-10)
in San Bernardino County. The project limits range from the Los Angeles/San
Bernardino County line to Tennessee Street in the City of
Redlands.
The
eastbound Interstate-10 connector to north and south Interstate-215 will
be closed nightly from 9:00 p.m. Sunday, October 4th until Saturday
morning at 6:00 A.M. October 10th.
The connectors will be open outside of these work hours.
The
detour during the nightly connector closures is Waterman Avenue. Signs will be
in place to assist with the detour. If possible, avoid the construction
and use alternate routes.
The
project work hours are scheduled Sunday evenings through Saturday mornings
from 9:00 P.M. to 6:00 A.M. Alternating lane closures will be in effect at
the work locations, with up to three lanes closed at any given time. These lane
closures are necessary to perform work on approach slabs, polyester concrete,
joint seal, and to apply methacrylate. Detours, when necessary, will be posted
in advance of the project zone.
The project is estimated to be complete in late
2021.
