Project to Begin

San
Bernardino, CA___ The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans)
will soon begin a midwestern guardrail installation and terminal end treatment
on State Route 189 (SR-189) from the SR-18/189 split at Lake Gregory Drive to
SR-173 in Lake Arrowhead. This $1.9 million project was awarded to D.C. Hubbs
Construction, Inc.
Motorists
can expect to see construction signs and crews in the area beginning September
21st. Work will be Monday through Thursday from 8:00 A.M. to 4:00
P.M. and again on Fridays from 8:00 A.M.
to 2:00 P.M. Traffic will be controlled via a flagging operation. Crews will
repair guardrail and terminal end treatments at various locations on SR-189.
This project is anticipated to be completed by late November 2020.
