E T Russell ___ Late Wednesday morning Facebook and then the Big Bear
Grizzly online October 22nd posted Russ’ announcement. A call was
immediately made to the hospital by the Big Bear Lake NewsRoom Editor requesting
a press release to the media, be made available to confirm the information.
President Russ did not attend the Board of Directors
Business meeting scheduled for Wednesday evening. Closed Session began at 4:30
P.M. with the Open Session at 6:30 P.M. Vice-President Barbara Willey presided,
with Directors Barbara Espinoza, Donna Nicely and Dr. Chris Fagan.

Board of Directors and BVCHD Administration were informed on October 22, 2014 that
Sara Russ resigned from the Board of Directors effective immediately.

Valley Community Healthcare District is in the process of identifying steps
required to the fill the vacant seat with the assistance of the Registrar of
Voters and District Legal Counsel.
