Due
to the current wild-fire in the City of Corona, the California Highway Patrol would like to make commuters aware of the
current traffic conditions through the area.
The
eastbound Green River Road off-ramp is currently closed until further notice.
Green River Road is closed from State Route-91 to Foothill Parkway.
The
eastbound State Route 91, #5 lane is closed between Coal Canyon to Green River
Road.
To
assist with the flow of traffic, the Riverside County Transportation Commission
(RCTC) and Orange County Transportation Authority (OCTA) will open the
eastbound 91 Express lanes to all traffic and will not charge tolls until 9:00 P.M.
this evening (09/26/2017).
The
California Highway Patrol urges commuters to take alternate routes to their
destinations to mitigate traffic congestion through the area.
