CAC Detectives
Willful Harm to
Children
Sunday, November 15,
2020, investigators from San Bernardino County Sheriff/ Yucaipa Station,
contacted the Specialized Investigations Division, Crimes Against Children
Detail (CAC) regarding a two-year-old male victim with bruising to his face.
Further investigation presented two additional victims, a 13-year-old female
and a three-year-old female.
Following an
extensive investigation and collaboration with Children and Family Services,
the victims were removed from McCarter and Musselman’s custody. The victims’
mother, Stevie McCarter and the victims’ father, Kyle Musselman were arrested
November 16, 2020. McCarter and Musselman were booked at Central Detention
Center for Willful Harm or Injury to a Child. McCarter and Musselman’s bails
were set at $100,000. McCarter and Musselman posted bail on November 17, 2020
and were released from custody.
