Arrest FELON Jesse Soto
Possession
of a high capacity magazine
and Possession
of a firearm
Monday morning, July 7, 2020, at approximately 9:26 a.m., San Bernardino
County Sheriff Deputies (Central Station) were in the area of the 7200 block of
Garden Drive in San Bernardino conducting follow up investigation, when they observed
a white Chevrolet SUV with expired registration. The Deputies contacted the
driver, Jesse Soto, and learned Soto was on felony probation for evading
police.
Soto was detained, and his vehicle was searched. Inside Soto's vehicle, the
Deputies located 3.5 grams of methamphetamine, a silver .40 caliber
semi-automatic handgun, and a black 9mm pistol, loaded with a 30 round high
capacity magazine. Soto is a convicted felon and it is unlawful for him to
possess a firearm.
Soto was arrested
for PC 2900(a)(1), Felon in Possession of a Firearm, PC 32310, Possession of A
High Capacity Magazine, and HS 11370.1, Possession of a Controlled Substance
while Armed. Soto was booked into the Central Detention Center. He is being
held on $50,000 bail.
