Two Homicide
Suspects Arrested
in Big Bear
City
Friday October 30th, Big Bear Sheriff Deputies of
the Station responded to a call of a ‘man down’. Upon the arrival of the
Sheriff Deputies, they discovered a male subject lying in the roadway, south of
Big Bear Boulevard and Starvation Flats Road.
The subject was transported by Big Bear Fire ambulance to
Bear Valley Community Hospital and pronounced deceased. Investigators believed
the subject was the victim of a homicide.
Detectives from the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Homicide
Division responded to Big Bear Lake and joined the Big Bear Sheriff Detectives to

another individual in the Holcomb Creek area. During the course of the armed
robbery, the intended victim confronted the suspects. Alexander Miskam
sustained life threatening injuries and was transported away from the scene by
another suspect.
Alexander Miskam was driven to the area of Big Bear Boulevard
and Starvation Flats Road, where he was discovered by others.
As a result of the investigation, Sarah and Dusty Miskam
were arrested on charges of P.C. 187 (murder) and P.C. 211 (armed robbery).
Both were booked at the Big Bear Lake jail, where they are currently being held
without bail.
