Big Pine Flat Family Campground is located in the Big Bear area at an elevation of 6820 feet. The campground has a nice meadow area and tall pines; it has 19 sites and is a first-come, first-serve campground. There is an on-site campground host. Campsites include picnic table, fire ring, and drinking water. This is the only campground in the area that allows ATV's, and the ATV's cannot be ridden inside the campground.

Water: Yes. The availability of water is limited. Please fill up your RV's before coming to the campground.
Restrictions: Campsite Space/Spur length is 30 feet. All OHV green sticker and red stickers vehicles must be registered. Staging area is located across from the campground. An Adventure Pass is required at the staging area for Off Highway Vehicles.

From North Shore Drive on the north side of the lake, (SR-38) when you reach the City of Fawnskin and the “Y” in the road, (driving west) veer right on to Rim of the World Drive, past the County Fire Station 96. Continue on Rim of the World, after the pavement ends the road turns into Forest Road 3N14. This dirt road will take you approximately 7 miles to Big Pine Flat Campground. The Big Pine Flat Campground entrance gates will be on your left, 50 yards past 3N16.
