The Boulder Bay Park in Big Bear Lake is a newer park which opened in 2010. The
Park is a couple of miles east of the Dam. It’s a great park with lots of attractions
and facilities including a large bandstand, restrooms, huge dock for fishing or
gazing and the view is spectacular. There are several islands made entirely of boulders
in the Bay and these are great fun if you are canoeing or kayaking. The dock and
picnic tables are popular with families who come to hang out and enjoy the Park.
In the winter the Park is a popular place for snow play.
