Summer WINE WALK
Village at Big Bear Lake
Saturday June 4th
The Village
Business Association (VBA) of Big Bear Lake will host the Annual Summer Wine Walk Saturday
June 4th , at the Village at Big Bear Lake shopping district. This merchant-organized event that opens at 3:30 P.M. until 7:00
P.M., will showcase fine wines from around the world as well as self-guided
tours through the Village browsing shopping in the unique shops.
The 2016 Village Business Association (VBA) welcomes Classic Wines
of California, Southern Wine and Spirits, Rebel Coast Winery and Joseph Filippi
Winery and Vineyards as participants in the 2016 Village Summer Wine Walk.
Ticket holders receive a map of participating businesses, a
commemorative wine glass, 12 wine tasting tickets and a wristband at check-in.
A portion of the proceeds will be donated to Big Bear Valley
Education Trust, Christmas in the Village, Fourth of July fireworks and numerous
other events for the community.
“The Wine Walk has grown into a fabulous event that we designed to
feature merchants here in the Village, as well as the Event benefits all
businesses and community non- organizations.” said Cheri Wilson, chair of the
VBA Wine Walk project. Wilson is owner of Home Warehouse Design Center, a
participating store in the event. “The summer wine walk is a great opportunity
to taste a variety of wines you might not have a chance to taste, otherwise.”
