Headed for Carnegie Hall

The Voice Studio of Diane Sloan Kubeja is proud to announce the 2022 Honors Performance Series, Carnegie Hall finalists from the Big Bear Valley. Congratulations to (above left to right:) Abbie Petrucelli, Tristin Bondeson, August Haston and Keara Ollila! 

February 3-7, 2022, the four finalists will join 500 other vocalists from around the world in New York City! During this five-day whirlwind adventure, Petrucelli, Bondeson, Haston and Ollila will mostly be rehearsing for and performing in Carnegie Hall. But in their spare time, the students will be attending a Broadway show, celebrating on a New York City Harbor dinner cruise with other finalists, and sight-seeing in Times Square and at Rockefeller Center. 

A Christmas Spectacular will happen this Sunday, December 5^th at the Performing Arts Center in Big Bear Lake. The traditional Voice Studio performance opens at 2:00 P.M. in Hofert Hall, featuring the 2022 Carnegie Kids and the Unaccompanied Minors, the original Mountain Marvelettes: Jodi Cline, Tori Waner, Jessica Brasher & Kylar Carmody and special guest artists. 

A Christmas Spectacular is a way for the community to financially support the 2022 Carnegie Kids’ travel expenses while they attend the once-in-a lifetime experience.  Come and join this seasonal holiday tradition; a preview of their Christmas Caroling and the unique and delightful deliverance of their musical talents.
