Since 1949, Big Bear Valley has
come together for Old Miners Days, a collection of summer events bringing
residents and visitors together to celebrate Southern California’s largest gold
rush. For over six decades, the Old
Miners have been in the business of family fun and learning. Celebrating its 69th Anniversary
this year, the 2018 theme “Going for the Gold!.”

Miners Association with the Big Bear Moose Lodge #2085 announces the 2018 Doo Dah Parade to be Saturday July 28th at 10:00 A.M. The wacky, ridiculous ‘just another’ unpredictable Event is an
Old Miners
Days traditional that happens in ‘downtown Fawnskin’, annually.
Not only
is it a Show Stopper … The Doo Dah Parade is a Traffic Stopper, too! California Highway Patrol, Running Springs and
Caltrans District #8, close-off State Route #38 for the brief parade, for safety
reasons.
Although
rumored to be the World’s Shortest Parade, it sure isn’t short on fun! Soon after The Parade, scrumpious food, live music, arts & crafts and
children’s games offered by the partnership with the Fawnskin Moose Festival.
