“Know
How” WORKSHOP
The Big Bear Computer Club is offering a one-afternoon Digital
Photo Workshop, Monday May 15th. Computer Science Instructor Rosemary Lloyd
will be teach the skills and techniques of operating Digital Cameras, Computers, Tablets (iPad,
Android and Windows 10) and Smart Phones (IPhone and Androids) Workshop.

is $15.00 per person with registration required. The Workshop pre-requisite is: All attendents
need to know how to take pictures with their device (Digital Cameras,
Computers, Tablets (iPad, Android, Windows 10, and Smart Phones (IPhone and
Androids).
The Monday session will begin with a brief ‘how to take photos’;
then ‘how to download’ photos to a computer. To complete the training the Digital Photo Workshop will conclude
with ‘how to upload to The Cloud’.
Instructor Lloyd will explain how to organize, edit,
resize and send photos by email. She
will demonstrate ‘how to backup photo files’, using various programs and ‘how
to photo edit’, using GIMP, a comprehensive photo editing App. Also included will be a demonstration of ‘how
to upload to Google and store on-line.

attendees need to bring their cameras, cables to connect the camera to their
laptop, including a power cord.
The Digital Photo Workshop will be Monday
afternoon, May 15th, from 1:15 P.M. until 3:15 P.M., at the Bear
Valley Senior Citizen Center located in Big Bear Lake, at 42651 Big Bear
Boulevard.
Digital Photo Workshop registration is required for
