and Sampling in the Village of Big Bear Lake!

Hosts
the Annual Village Fall Wine Walk
Saturday, September 15, 2018 from 3:30 P.M. until 7:00 P.M.
in the shopping district of the
Village of Big Bear Lake.
This merchant organized event
showcases fine wines from around the world and the Village’s unique shops and
restaurants. For Fall 2018, the Village Business Association (VBA) is delighted
to welcome Classic Wines of California, Vines on the Mary Crest and Joseph
Filippi Winery and Vineyards as participants in our 2018 Village Fall Wine
Walk.
Wine Walk Ticketholders will receive
a map of the event participating businesses, a commemorative wine glass, 12
wine tasting tickets and a wristband at check-in. A portion of the proceeds to
be donated to Big Bear Valley Education Trust, Christmas in the Village, Fourth
of July Fireworks and numerous other Big Bear Valley events.
“The Wine Walk has grown into
a premier event that we designed to feature merchants in the Village, but to
also benefit all businesses and organizations in the Big Bear Valley.” said
Cheri Wilson, chair of the VBA Wine Walk and owner of Home Warehouse Design
Center, a participating store in the event. “The Fall Wine walk is a great
opportunity to taste a variety of wines you might not ever have a chance to
taste.”
Presale tickets for the
Village Fall Wine Walk cost $35 when purchased before September 4th. Remaining tickets are $45, until sold-out.
Wine Walk Tickets can be
purchased online at www.villagewinewalk.com , or theBig Bear Visitors Bureau on Bartlett
or at The UPS Store on Village Drive. The Wine Walk will begin at 3:30
and end at 7:00 p.m., shortly followed by a raffle prize drawing for event
attendees. Wine Walk participants must be at least 21 years old.
The Village Business Association
is also offering a VIP ticket for $5.00 additional. Participants will receive free pick up and
drop off to and from the wine walk from your location within the Big Bear
Valley, expedited VIP check in, double raffle prize tickets and a wine yolk to hold
your glass. Free rides home will be
offered to all that attend.
New this year, we will open
for check-in at 11:00 a.m. to encourage guests to check-in early and enjoy all
that the Village has to offer. Check-in
is on the corner of Pine Knot Avenue and Village Drive. The VBA is anticipating a sellout event of
1300 participants to enjoy an afternoon of great wines, wonderful hors
d'oeuvres, live-music, mountain-air and panoramic views Big Bear Lake.
