Everyone (men/ women/ children) interested in being in the show is asked to come to the first rehearsal on Saturday, May 14th at 1:00 P.M. at the CATS Warehouse Theater in Big Bear City. Prepare to stay. Rehearsals begin that day for the entire cast, for an 11 performance run opening June 24th at the BigBear Lake Performing Arts Center, closing on July 10.

All those interested in being in the chorus of the show do not have to audition but must come May 14th and must commit to the production and rehearsal schedule. Some principal parts were cast at early auditions. However, there will be several smaller roles cast out of the large chorus of men, women and children that will be needed for the show.

Take Me Along is the Broadway musical version of Eugene O’Neill’s classic comedy, “Ah Wilderness!”, and was first performed by CATS in 2000 starring John Grandi in his first CATS role. Originally starring Jackie Gleason, who won a Tony Award for his hilarious performance, and also starring Walter Pidgeon in his magnificent singing role, Take Me Along is a high spirited family musical filled with wonderful songs and delightfully funny scenes.
