Friends of the Big Bear Alpine Zoo invites the Animal Friendly Community to the Annual
Ice Cream Safari, Saturday August 19th. The Safari will be a special treat for every
visitor to the Big Bear Alpine Zoo
located in Big Bear Lake, at 43285 Goldmine Drive (Bear Mountain).
The Saturday afternoon Annual Ice Cream Safari begins at 12:00 P.M/NOON with Decorative
Ice Cream stations will be located throughout the Big Bear Alpine Zoo, each offering a different flavor.
Ice Cream Safari Tickets are
$5 each for 5 scoops of Ice Cream. Enjoy a bowl of ice cream as you tour the Zoo.
Familiarize with Animal Residents and learn about them and their Big Bear Zoo Home.
The $5.00 Ice Cream
ticket fee is in addition to the General Zoo Admission. Admission rates are:
Adults $12.00; Children 3 to 10 years and seniors 60+ $9.00; under 3 years are admitted
at no charge.
The 2017 Ice Cream
Safari, will close by 3:00 P.M. or ‘til
the ice cream runs out!

Friends of the Big Bear Alpine Zoo

formed in 1989 as a non-profit public benefit corporation
whose purpose is to support the Big Bear
Alpine Zoo through:
(1) Educating the public regarding treatment,
protection, and conservation of wildlife;
(2)
Recruiting and coordinating zoo volunteers; and (3)
Fundraising.
