Located in the San Bernardino
Mountains the Big Bear Discovery Center and along
the north shore of beautiful Big Bear Lake is one of the busiest visitor and environmental
learning centers in a United States national forest. Approximately, 190,000 visitors are welcomed annually; with
the 3-millionth visitor crossed the threshold in January of 2016. Year-round programming and eco-tours are
offered to visitors of all ages with the aim of creating greater stewardship
for our forest lands, recreating more responsibly and safely, and conservation
of our natural resources for future generations to enjoy.
The Gates to the Big
Bear Discovery Center Amphitheater will open Saturday July 16th
at 5:00 P.M. for another Music In The Mountains Live-Concert. Fans with pre-sold and reserved tickets will
be greeted into the outdoor theater, as well as Concert tickets will be available
for purchase at the gate until 6:00 P.M.
The 2016 Summer Concert series is presented by Big Bear Vacations and co-produced in collaboration with Stone Entertainment Group.

Premium Bench tickets are $40. Teen (ages
13-18) tickets are discounted to $5; Youth 12 years old and under are admitted
free.
Walk-up ticket sales are
available at The Cave Box Office
located in the Village of Big Bear Lake. The box office is open Wednesdays
through Sundays, from 12:00 Noon until 5:00 P.M. except Saturdays it stays open
until 9:00 P.M.
Discounted General Admission
(GA) tickets, for all concert are available for full-time Big Bear Valley
residents, military; First Responders (police & fire); and Mountains
Foundation volunteers at $24 each adult (a 20% savings) available at The Cave with proper identification.
Parking near the Big
Bear Discovery Center is available at $20 per vehicle on a first-come
basis. Service fees are applicable
online. Limited and free handicap
parking available at the Discovery Center on a first-come basis; valid license
plate or placard required. Free off-site
parking available at Meadows Edge Trailhead, located ¼ mile west of the
Discovery Center front gate, with free shuttle pick up and deliver, from 5:00
P.M. until 10:00 P.M.
The Mountain Transit Trolley offers service each hour from Big Bear
Lake to the Discovery Center MountainsFoundation.org for schedule. Also,
