As in many Christmas’ gone by, visitors to the Valley will join residents in celebration of the Holiday Season, early Friday evening, in the Village of Big Bear Lake. Crowds of Christmas greeters bundled in warm wraps, will gather at the Christmas Tree corner to join into the holiday caroling and merriment.
The anticipation rises with children anxiously awaiting the Santa Claus’ entrance entourage that begins at Big Bear Boulevard at Pine Knot Avenue and finalizes at Village Drive.
The 2016 Village Christmas festivities will begin with Big Bear Lake Mayor David Caretto lighting of the Village Christmas Tree. Emcee Steve Cassling will keep the enthusiasm going with a variety of special guests, including holiday entertainment by the Mountain Marvelettes. The Voices of Christmas Dickens Era Carolers will be returning this year.
