keeping the “Good of the Community” in mind.”
             A successful real
estate salesperson, Auer enjoys assisting her clients in achieving their dream

and was named Realtor of the Year in 2015, which is again a testament to Auer’s
ability to work well with peers to achieve successful outcomes for all
            involved.

during the holiday and event schedules. |
 Auer cherishes the opportunities that
living in the mountain atmosphere provides, such as: hiking,
backpacking, boating, kayaking, snowshoeing, mountain biking, off-roading, and
camping with her active family. She feels now that her children are grown, she
has more time to serve her community. Maureen Auer is passionate and genuinely cares about this Community and will
participate by listening and making decisions that not only effect the
community, but her family, as well.    Auer
indicates several important issues that need to be addressed with the new City Council
such as: solutions for the “3-Ts”
            – Trash, Trespassing & Traffic,  Tourism
Management, enhancing Code Enforcement, Village of Big Bear Lake streets, attracting and supporting new businesses,
improving the Traffic Management Plan, work with Mountain Transit to enhance
public transportation and more to be explored in 2021.  Auer wants to
increase the relationship with the County for the benefit of the whole Big Bear
Valley and become more uniform and consistent throughout the Big Bear Valley. Maureen Auer comments about
the City of Big Bear Lake, “I believe keeping our residents safe during the
COVID-19 crisis and supporting our businesses are the City’s #1 priorities
right now.  The City needs to continue to
be financially conservative.  I want to
work with and collaborate with our most important City services including law
enforcement, paramedics/ambulance, fire protection, snow plowing, street
maintenance and transit, to keep our residents healthy and safe.” “It will be
an honor to serve as your City Council-Woman!” Maureen Auer
