In Big Bear Lake, California, the Marine Corps League Detachment #1038 Friday evening November 10th will commemorate the 242nd Birthday of the United States Marine Corps.

For 242 years, the brave members of the U.S. Marine Corps have looked life-threatening danger in the eye to defend our Constitution and protect our freedom, values and way of life.

Come, join us and others as we give tribute to the men and women in the Marine Corps serving here at home and around the world.

The special evening will begin with the Social Hour at 5:00 P.M. in the Stillwells Restaurant located in The Lodge at Big Bear Lake. A brief time of remarks and acknowledgments before the traditional cutting of the Marines Birthday Cake..

The Commanding General of Twenty Palms U.S. Marine Major General William Mullen is the guest speaker.

Guests that haven’t previously made reservations are welcome to order from the dinner menu.

Active Duty Marines will be in Dress Blues, while others may wish to wear dark blue or black semi-formal. Most important to us than what you are wearing; is your attendance; so please join us in celebrating the Marine Corps Birthday and make this an occasion to remember!

The Lodge is located west in the Village of Big Bear Lake, 40650 Village Drive, Big Bear Lake, CA 92315
