An Afternoon with Mark Twain

‘Adam and Eve and Satan’ will be the highlight
of the afternoon, Saturday December 13th,
at the Big Bear Valley Library. Local entertainer Steve Gaghagen will present
excerpts from the works of Mark Twain. Sponsors of the traditional holiday ‘Adam and Eve and Satan’ event, the
Friends of the Big Bear Valley Library, invite everyone to enjoy the Mark Twain
presentation that is offered at no charge to the public.
Twain,
best known for his novels ‘Adventures
of Huckleberry Finn’ and ‘The
Adventures of Tom Sawyer’ have been extensively
quoted and enjoyed immense public popularity. His keen wit and incisive satire
earned him praise from both critics and peers. Upon his death he was lauded as the greatest American humorist of his age.
Also,
Gaghagen will read from some of Mark Twain’s more familiar writings. With Gaghagen’s wit and dramatic ability
combined with Twain’s humor, the evening will joyfully capture the audience's attention.
The
Library seating is limited, so arrive early to see the Saturday program , that
