2 Adults Arrested for
Cruelty to a 4-year-old Boy Severely Inflicting Injuries
Monday, March 21, 2022___ San Bernardino County Sheriff
Investigators /Crimes Against Children (CAC) Detail - Yucaipa Sheriff Station
are conducting an investigation regarding a four-year-old male victim who was
admitted to Loma Linda University Medical Center (LLUMC) with severe injuries.
Doctors at LLUMC determined the injuries were caused by non-accidental trauma,
consistent with child abuse.
Through investigation, detectives determined Ismael Flores
and Araceli Teran caused the injuries to the victim and concluded the
investigation, Flores and Teran were arrested.
Tuesday,
March 22, 2022, Flores and Teran were arrested and booked into the Central
Detention Center. Flores and Teran were both held for violation of
California Penal Code sections 273a(a) Willful Cruelty to a Child, with a bail
amount of $1,000,000.
