Fire Held to the
Attic

Big Bear Lake, CA.___ 10:48 A.M., Sunday, November 14, 2021 a
residential structure fire was reported in the area of East Minnow Lane and
Baldwin Lake Road, in Big Bear City.
Upon
arrival, Big Bear Fire Crews observed a single-story modular residence with
smoke showing from all sides of the building. Fire Fighters extinguished the interior
fire in approximately 45 minutes, holding it to the attic. There were no
occupants home at the time of the house fire.
The mid-morning
fire required all units from the Big Bear Fire Department, well as the
assistance from CalFire and National Forest Service. Big Bear Battalion Fire Chief Luke Wagner was
on-scene and incident commander of the response.
Cause
of the fire is under investigation by Big Bear Fire Department.
