Tuition Waivers to San Bernardino

Sacramento, California ____ Wednesday January 20th, Assemblyman Jay Obernolte (R-Hesperia) announced that he is co-authoring Senate Bill 893, which seeks to provide an undergraduate tuition fee waiver for surviving children and spouses of the victims of the San Bernardino terrorist attack.

“The terrorist attack at the Inland Regional Center shocked the nation and devastated the residents of San Bernardino County,” stated Assemblyman Jay Obernolte.

“As the local community recovers from this horrific incident, it’s a small token of our sympathy to offer the surviving family members free tuition at California’s colleges and universities.”
