by E T Russell__ The Big Bear Valley Republican Assembly Membership invites the public to join a general monthly meeting, Tuesday March 15th 6:00 P.M.  BBVRA meetings have a variety of political related projects, guest speakers and issues included in the monthly programs.  

Guest speaker Big Bear Fire Chief Jeff Willis will tell about the Big Bear Fire Authority and the changes that have been made to best serve the Big Bear Valley.  

A second guest speaker is Linda Paine, President of the Election Integrity Project - The Election Integrity Project volunteers seek to protect our Republic, a government of, by, and for the people by maintaining an active role in that part of government which empowers citizens with our most fundamental right ~ the right to choose our representatives, by vote. 

The goal of Election Integrity Project is to enable citizens to become active participants in the entire election process, from overseeing the integrity of the voter rolls, to ensuring that each lawfully cast vote is counted and counted fairly, and that all processes are in compliance with federal, state and local laws, statutes and regulations.

Among the speakers scheduled in near future are: San Bernardino County Supervisor James Ramos, California Riffle and Pistol Association Rick Travis, California Senator Mike Morrell, and California Republican Party Chairman Jim Brulte.

 Some of the projects BBVRA members have volunteered to help with are: Scholarship Awards, Get out the Vote, Honor Veterans and Election Night event.

New members are always welcome to join Big Bear Valley Republican Assembly that meets each third-Tuesday of the month with exception of special called meetings.

Big Bear Valley Republican Assembly meeting begins at 6:00 P.M. Anyone who wants to order dinner are asked to arrive early, to place their order by 5:30 P.M.  Nottingham’s Tavern is located in Big Bear Lake, at 40797 Big Bear Boulevard.
