February 14, 2019 San Bernardino County____

San Bernardino County Sheriff Desert Patrol helicopter 40 King 3 responded to a call to rescue people stranded swiftly moving river water areas,  Thursday, February 14, 2019.

The San Bernardino County Sheriff - Emergency Operations Division- Aviation Unit immediately went to the rescue of three separate swift water rescues in the Mojave Riverbed. Due to the large amount of rain in the area, the river rapidly swelled trapping several subjects in the water and on islands in the middle of the river.

In anticipation of the heavy rainfall the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Dive Team and the 40 King 3 Crew skillfully responded to the incident and performed a successful swift water rescue of a total of five (5) subjects from Mojave Riverbed. The near disastrous victims were rescued by the crew and transferred to medical personnel staged nearby.
