Books and More Books

The 3^rd Library Live Mini Auction will be Saturday afternoon, March 21, at Big Bear Lake Branch Library. The Friends of the Library welcomes the public at 2:00 P.M. to take advantage of the event. 

Auctioneer and Book Collector Merle Bobzien will again present a variety of collectible books from different genres.  A list of the books is available at the library the week before the event.  Arrive early to browse the books to be auctioned-off that will be available for viewing one hour before the auction. A selection of the books will be on display at the library one week before.

The mini-auctions have replaced the annual auctions and have proven to be successful. The mini-auctions are designed to serve the book-lovers better, with shorter time-frame and fewer selections.  Plans for future mini-auctions are to schedule them more frequently.
