EMERGENCY SERVICES DAY
The PUBLIC
is Invited
The
California Highway Patrol and Running Springs Fire Department will team up with
other local Emergency Services agencies to host an Emergency Services Day. Residents
and guests are invited on Saturday, October 11, 2014 from 10:00 A.M. to 2:00 P.M. Emergency equipment displays and exciting
demonstrations will take place along Hilltop Blvd. from Running Springs Fire
Department Station 51 West to the California Highway Patrol Station (CHP).
The
Emergency Services Day will offer the public a unique opportunity to see
emergency equipment and meet the men and women who are committed to protecting
our lives and property. Fire Engines,
Brush Engines, Rescue Squad, Snow Cat, Extrication and Firefighting equipment,
Safety and Fire Prevention displays will be on hand. Finally, special appearances by Sparky the
firedog, Smokey Bear and Chipper (the CHP mascot) will delight children of all
ages.
