Celebrate Summer
Artists
The
Gallery located in the Village of Big Bear Lake, has always been a great place
to view and purchase work by skilled and creative local artists. The Arts
Council of Big Bear Valley, is unveiling its summer line-up of acclaimed guest
artists, featuring local artists with monthly receptions. The season’s first
guest artist, Daniel Ketelhut, creates mysterious and surreal expressionist
paintings that he says, “…tap into the unconscious of the viewer, creating a
more direct, visceral experience.” Ketelhut’s work will be hosted through
mid-July, during which time landscape painter Elaine Bron will be the featured
local artist.
The
public is invited to visit with artists, listen to live music and enjoy wine
and hors d’oeuvres at The Gallery’s 4th Saturday Open House-style reception,
July 28 from 4:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. Visit BigBearLakeArts.org for details or
call 909-878-4161. The
Gallery is located at 40750 Village Drive in Big Bear Lake.
The Arts Council of Big Bear Valley is currently focused on creating a Village
Arts Campus—a cultural center where visual and performing artists from
throughout the area can teach, create and share the arts for the enrichment of
youth and the community.
