San Bernardino County Sheriff, Police, Board of
Supervisors and Employees
convey their gratitude to the Individuals, County, State
and the Nation for their
support and assistance in the aftermath of the December 2nd
Tragedy.

reported, Tuesday March 1st,
the San Bernardino County Board
of Supervisors unanimously adopted among the 2016 goals and objectives will
continue to support San Bernardino County employees affected by the December 2 Terrorist Attack and
assist in the overall recovery of the San Bernardino community.
"The strength and
resiliency of our people is an inspiration to us all," said Board of Supervisors Chairman James
Ramos. "We are committed to continuing to help our employees and our
community recover from this attack and use what we learn to help anyone else
who might experience a similar tragedy."
Implementing the Countywide Vision, increasing jobs and economic
value, and ensuring the development of a well-planned, balanced, and
sustainable county were also among the goals and objectives established by
the board.
Annual goals and objectives were established to create a clear line of
authority between the public, as represented by the San Bernardino
County Board of Supervisors, and the
activities carried out by San Bernardino County Government. All County Government activities and spending must be
directly tied toward achieving the Board's Goals & Objectives.
The San Bernardino County Board
of Supervisors meet annually with the Chief Executive Officer to evaluate his
performance in carrying out the goals and objectives and to draft goals and
objectives for the year ahead.

The City of San Bernardino mourns with the victims of the
December 2nd Tragedy.
The San Bernardino Relief Fund was established to collect
donations
to help victims and families.
"This Board is committed to open and accountable government,"
Chairman Ramos said. "Publicly setting goals and objectives ensures that
the public sets the County's course and that County staff is accountable to the
Board of Supervisors."

& Objectives fall are:
--Implement the Countywide Vision
--Create, Maintain and Grow Jobs and Economic Value in the County
--Improve County Government Operations
--Operate in a Fiscally Responsible and Business-like Manner
--Ensure Development of a Well-Planned, Balanced, and Sustainable County
--Provide for the Safety, Health, and Social Service Needs of County Residents
--Pursue County Goals and Objectives by Working with Other Agencies
--Focus on Recovery and Resiliency Following the December 2, 2015 Terrorist
