Bear Lake, California ____ Bear Valley Electric
Service (BVES) has completed repairs and restored power to all customers,
following an outage that temporarily impacted service to the south side of the
valley from Baldwin Lake to the Big Bear Lake Dam on Friday, June 28th.
Crews were immediately dispatched to
address an infrastructure failure and worked throughout the early morning until
power was fully restored at 6:50 A.M.
“BVES recognizes that
power outages are never convenient, and we appreciate our customers’ understanding
and patience as crews worked to safely complete repairs and restore power to
all impacted areas,”
said BVES Director Paul Marconi.

Bear Valley Electric Service (BVES) is a division of Golden State Water Company (GSWC),
which is a wholly owned water and electric utility subsidiary of American
States Water Company (NYSE:AWR). GSWC provides water service to approximately
256,000 customers in 75 communities throughout 10 counties in Northern, Coastal
