E.T. Russell, December 29, 2013 ____ The New Year starts off with Kenny Metcalf and the Early Years Band returning, Saturday January 4th at THE CAVE in the Village of Big Bear Lake. Many audiences are always amazed at the charisma that Metcalf both in musical talent as his musicians exert a unique and classic Tribute Elton John concert. Metcalf as Elton John keeps the suspense exciting not only with glitzy ‘John-like’ costumes but excellent mannerisms and mock-style keyboard renditions.   
Big Bear Valley fans have been close friends with Metcalf and the Band members for years. Even high school class mates drive to the mountain from Los Angeles, just to experience another performance. The Metcalf family has had a positive influence with young people at every venue. 
Metcalf has entertained thousands and continues to walk in the Rocket Man’s footsteps. THE CAVE rocks when Metcalf hits the first chord of ‘Benny and the Jets’ or ‘Crocodile Rocks’.
It’s a package deal with the Early Years Band, the excellent musicians who together recreate the Elton John show, complete with hairstyles, bell-bottoms, platforms, glitter and sequins. Musicians, Mark Servi, Isaac Johnson, Bobby HQ Storm, and Josiah Servi with backup singers, Sharlene Griffith and Stefanie Brignoni join Metcalf to make the evening a true experience.   
THE CAVE, the newest entertainment venue in town, has an awesome and beautiful theater to offer concert audiences. Fans can enjoy a choice cocktail whether it is a soft drink, draft beer, or fine wine.  Attentive waiters serve fans at their comfortable seats in the lush theater.
