__The F B I is coming to….
the Big Bear Computer Club Thursday September 4th.
Members and guests are encouraged to attend the 5:30 P.M. meeting at Big Bear
Discovery Center located at 40971 North Shore Drive (SR 38), Fawnskin.
The guest speaker will be an FBI Agent from the Federal Bureau
of Investigation in Los Angeles. His topic will be about forensic digital
evidence recovery, especially on PC's and phones. In the last 10 years he has
been working on a variety of federal violations. He has worked national
security and criminal computer intrusion matters as well as he has been
certified as a Computer Forensic examiner for nine years doing digital evidence
recovery on personal computers, servers, and cellular phones. This will be a
very informative presentation and one that should not be missed.
What is the Big Bear Computer Club?
It’s a place where beginners and advance community members
can get help with computer problems, hear outstanding industry guest speakers
make presentations of the latest and
greatest computer products and most of all it is a learning experience for all
who attend. Generally, the club meetings
are the first Thursday of each month.
There is no charge to attend and
the general public is invited. Refreshments
are served and door prizes for the membership.
