Big Bear Valley Sheriff Seeking Help

  to ID and Find SUSPECTS 

 


Wednesday January 20th, the Big Bear Sheriff received a report of counterfeit $20 bills being passed at K-Mart and CVS in Big Bear Lake. It was reported that two days prior, an unidentified male and female purchased a $100 reloadable credit card, from K-Mart and then purchased an additional $300 worth of credit on the reloadable card at CVS using the counterfeit bills. The counterfeit bills were not immediately identified ...to be phony, but were later determined to be fake bills, when the cash registers were being processed.

The male and female suspects were captured on video surveillance. The suspects were reported to be driving a newer dark grey Audi A-3, with paper license plates.
