Book Sale at the Library

The Fall Book Sale presented by the Friends
of the Big Bear Valley Library will begin with a Preview Night Tuesday, October
21 from 5:00 to 7:00 P.M. New members joining the Friends are welcome to the preview,
too.The Book Sale will be held at the Big
Bear Lake Branch Library. An array of types of books will be sold at incredible
prices. The Friends are busily preparing and categorizing the large selection
of books. Many books have generously been donated by members of the community
and some are retired from the library shelves, still in great condition.
The Fall Book Sale will continue, October
22nd Wednesday through October 25th The Library is closed
on Fridays and closes Saturdays by 2:00 P.M.
Discounted prices are: Hardcover and large
paperback books will sell for $1.00; small paperback books are 50¢ or 3 for
$1.00; children’s books are 25¢; books on tape (per tape) are $1.00; audio (per
tape) are 50¢; CD’s/DVD’s are $1.00; videos are $1.00. As in the past on
Saturday, books will again be sold at $2.00 for an entire bag full.
