Caltrans is pleased to announce that starting Tuesday, November 1st, State Route 243 (SR-243) will be opened to some-type of limited access (escort or a flagging operation).

Caltrans would like to remind travelers to be work zone alert as maintenance and contractor crews will be in the area on both SR-74 and SR-243 for the remainder of the year, to restore the routes to full operational access.
