Sacramento,
California ____ Thursday December 7th, (R-Hesperia) received top marks from
California’s leading taxpayer protection and pro-business groups, based on his
2017 voting record. The Assemblyman also received a perfect score from the
California Police Chiefs Association.
Every
year these organizations release rankings based on how Members vote on
important issues affecting our state.

am proud to have received such high marks from our state’s leading business,
taxpayer advocates, and law enforcement organizations,” Assemblyman Obernolte
said. “What matters to the families throughout my district is their cost of
living, access to job opportunities, and the safety of their communities.
I
came to Sacramento to advocate on their behalf and I will continue to support
efforts to improve public safety while also fighting against higher taxes and
overly burdensome regulations.”
Assemblyman Jay Obernolte represents the 33rd Assembly
District, which includes the San Bernardino County communities of Adelanto,
Apple Valley, Baker, Barstow, Big Bear City, Big Bear Lake, Big River,
Crestline, Fort Irwin, Hesperia, Johnson Valley, Lake Arrowhead, Lenwood,
Lucerne Valley, Needles, Oak Hills, Phelan, Running Springs, Silver Lakes,
Trona, Twentynine Palms Base, Twin Peaks and Victorville.
