Multi-Enforcement Team of the Big Bear Sheriff’s Station
conducts a narcotics investigation, reveals possession of dangerous drugs.
Shortly before 8:00 A.M. today,
(Friday September 4th) Big Bear Sheriff’s patrol deputies,
detectives, and the Multi-Enforcement Team of the Big Bear Sheriff’s Station served a search warrant at a Big Bear City residence
in the 200 block of West North Shore Drive in conjunction with an ongoing
narcotics investigation. Multiple subjects were at the location at the time the
warrant was executed, including Glen Gates, controlling occupant of the residence.
During the search, deputies found hypodermic
needles, methamphetamine, and manufacturing equipment used to produce a
concentrated form of marijuana, commonly known as honey oil.
Glen Gates was taken into custody without
incident and booked into the Big Bear Jail on a felony charge of manufacturing
narcotics. Gates remains in custody in lieu of $500,000. An arraignment hearing
in this matter is scheduled for September 9 in San Bernardino County Superior
Court.
Also at the location were Christopher Krodell,
Kimberly Wolff, and Greg Gates. Krodell was found to be in possession of a
controlled substance and hypodermic needles and was issued a citation to appear
in court. Kimberly Wolff was found to have an active warrant on record related
to a charge for possession of dangerous drugs. Greg Gates was found to have an
active traffic warrant issued against him. Wolff and Greg Gates were issued
citations to appear in court for their active warrants.
