Pavement Rehab Project

April 18, 2020__ San Bernardino California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) continues work on a $42 million project to replace the #3 and #4 lanes on Interstate 15 (I-15) in and near Temecula from the Riverside/San Diego County line to just north of the Temecula River Bridge.

The contractor, Security Paving, Inc., will have lane closures from Rainbow Valley to State #79/Temecula Parkway to remove the existing metal beam guardrail in the median and perform roadway excavation.

Security Paving will also restripe the northbound #1 and #2 lanes to 11-feet and place k-rail (temporary concrete barrier) along the median. The work will take place Sunday-Thursday from 8:00 P.M. to 6:00 A.M.

At least one lane will remain open at all times. There will also be some daytime work Monday-Friday to perform clearing and grubbing away from traffic; no closures should be necessary for this work.

Sunday thru Thursday
