Man’s Body Found in Saw Mill Canyon
Sunday evening April 3, 2016, shortly
before 6:00 P.M. a hiker reported finding an unresponsive male adult in the
forested area near Saw Mill Canyon Road and West Sugarloaf Boulevard in Big
Bear City.
San Bernardino County Deputies of the Big
Bear Sheriff Station and Paramedics from Big Bear Fire Department responded to
the location.
The male subject was confirmed deceased
at the scene. There was no indication of foul play.
The
name of the male has been withheld, pending identification and notification to next
of kin; cause of death will be determined by the San Bernardino County Coroner.
