NO FIREWORKS
Allowed in Big Bear Valley
Celebrate Safely
The
Big Bear Fire
Department reminds everyone not
to use personal fireworks throughout the July 4th weekend.
Fireworks
can be beautiful as they are a part of celebrating July 4th
Independence Day. But they can be deadly
and unpredictable and only for professionals.
Not only are fireworks illegal
throughout the entire Big Bear Valley, but numerous fires have resulted
from their use, not to mention the severe injuries they may cause to the
users.
The
Big Bear Rotary International Club of Big Bear Valley provides the locals and
visitors with a world class fireworks display over Big Bear Lake on the evening
of July 4th. This display is
visible from many vantage points. So,
sit back and enjoy the show.
Remember,
all fireworks are prohibited in the Big Bear area, even the Safe and Sane products sold off the hill!
If
you see anyone using personal fireworks, call 9-1-1 immediately! Be safe and sane this holiday weekend of
celebration!
