  Seasonal Internships & Full-Time Positions 

 

 

The nonprofit Southern California Mountains Foundation (SCMF) is now accepting applications for a slate of 7 paid positions consisting of 3 seasonal internships and 4 full-time positions.  SCMF believes that connecting communities to public lands is the key to their survival.  They mobilize individuals to inspire and engage in environmental citizenship. 

To that end, the organization is looking for individuals interested in working outdoors, engaging the public through education and community service, possessing very good communications skills and leadership strengths in motivating and managing its employees and team of 700 volunteers to achieve program outcomes.

Internships

Environmental Educator and Program Lead Internship; 2 positions; open until filled
Reporting locations: (1) Big Bear Discovery Center, Fawnskin; (1) National Children’s Forest, Running Springs
Full-time; 12-week position; May/June – September; 40 hours/week; $10/hour
Weekend work is required; tentative schedule Thursday - Sunday; 8:00am – 5:30pm

Full-time; 40 hours/week; Monday- Friday; 9-5pm
Benefits included; Salary range $35,000-$45,000 based upon experience
