“Prospecting for Gold in the Heart of Our Community”

·       Description:

This grand parade is the oldest Old Miners Days event and includes marching bands, equestrian units, floats, period-costumed performers, amazing Classic Cars and Miss Clementine. 

The Parade procession begins at the Big Bear Elks Lodge located at 40611 Village Drive, Big Bear Lake, and heads east to Pine Knot Avenue, then marches north to Stone Road, again  turn east, ending at Knickerbocker Road in Big Bear Lake. 

Come dressed in 1860’s period costume and celebrate the Old Miners Days, that helped form the Big Bear Valley, that once mined the most gold in Southern California. 

 

*    OLD MINERS PARADE starts at 11:00 A.M. 

 

·        Admission: Free to Spectators. Bring your folding chairs 


·        Entry Fees: Youth Groups, School related clubs, Scouts, Non-Profits,

    Public & Government Services, Military, Police, Fire Depts and Dignitaries  NO FEE, 

    Businesses - $25; Car Clubs - $50 


·        Equestrians and Pet Donkeys are encouraged to enter the parade!
