January
8, 2019____
The
California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) is continuing work to
complete the State Route 18 (SR 18) paving and guardrail project. Although the
paving portion of the project is completed, some of the guardrail work remains
before the project is finished.
The
contractor will be installing K-rail on the northbound shoulder of State Route 18 at the
interchange of State Route 138 (SR 138) while a concrete barrier is built in
lieu of metal guardrail at the bridge columns.
The
project work will begin on Friday, January 10th and the shoulder
will be closed until the beginning of February, weather permitting.
